Why CrisisGo's Safe2SpeakUp App?

CrisisGo's mission is to make it safer for adults and students to get to school, learn safely, and get back home as safely as possible. Our Safe2SpeakUP app for students helps us achieve this by establishing a system to allow students to report safety risks and be alerted to emergencies. 

As everyone works together to create a safer learning environment, the safety culture of the school improves. When students are provided with an opportunity to report risks and seek assistance, schools are much more likely to be able to prevent emergencies and get students the help they need.

On this web page, you will find information that will be helpful for our staff to understand the purpose of deploying this new safety system. This site is to provide initial information to prepare you for the rollout. It is not intended to train you or provide everything you need to get started. Our project team for the school will be communicating more as we move forward and some of this information may change as we complete the onboarding process. To be transparent and keep you informed, please review the information and we look forward to working with each of you to improve our school safety culture.

Reports

A reporting tool that allows staff and students to report any bully-related activity. The intuitive report is sent directly to your bully tip receivers in the safety team, and it allows you to upload multimedia files. You can choose to remain anonymous when submitting a bully report.

Alerts

Inform everyone connected to your organization with a mass notification that includes an audible tone for distinct notification. Alerts spur immediate action and include descriptive messaging capabilities for all members of your organization.

Message

Message groups allow for two-way communications between the safety team members and students. This allows students to receive critical safety messages and engage in two-way safety communication if they choose.

Panic

By activating the digital Panic button, any staff member can alert your administrators you need assistance and let them know what kind of assistance you need, while automatically activating your GPS locator (If permissioned by
the individual user).
